I couldn't care less about more exposure for the sport. I like the fact that I follow a niche sport. If you are gonna change the rules do it for the sake of the sport not because Budweiser or whoever wants an extra 3.5 seconds of air time. If it was decided that an extra 30 seconds between rounds would help the sport because it helps the fighters recover more which enables the fighters to fight harder or means there is less chance of injury because of it I would be all for it. But changing the rules of the sport so companies can sell their products don't sit well with me.

**** that. I'd rather just watch the commercial.
The more televised fights, the better. If that means I gotta watch commercials or let a few minutes of buffer build up on my dvr before I watch the fight, it's not a big deal.
Seems to me that if there are more televised fights, that means more fighters get paid doesn't it?
Good on them.
The bigger the sport gets, the more opportunity for more people connected with the sport to make a living from their work.
I say good on them too.
Finally, the exposure might help to give a boost to our amateur boxing programs. Good on that.Comment

EXACTLY, I just keep imagining soccer moms watching boxing saying " why is he hitting him so hard??" "Why is he so mean???" "Give him a warning punch!"Comment
