    Your favourite prospects...

Its been quite a damn while since a prospect has caught my eye and I've thought damn this kid is destined for bigger things.
Obviously Rakhim but I've known about him years.

I did like that Leo Santa Cruz kid, works the body well, incredible punch output, hes a little pocket rocket he is. Think he could be doing with a bit more pop like but I was quite impressed by him.

Apart from that it really has been some time since I seen a great prospect.

I liked that Omar Henry? He reminded me a lot of Cotto but he was in Floyds camp and walked out and well I think he is like working on a degree & mainly working as a sparring partner. I think hes still pretty young though so should be gaining some great experience. Hope he gets some meaningful fights in the near future, he appears pretty exciting.

Which prospects have you seen lately and thought 'wow you are going places'?

Omar Figueroa: Saw him fight live here in Chicago, very impressive kid..he's patient and has killer power...I see big things in his career in the future..

Joel Diaz jr: after his fight on ShoBox with Guy Robb I was so impressed at how young he looked and the adversity he faced in that fight against another undefeated fighter that night, found out he was coming to Chicago..had to go see him, spoke to his dad who trains him, he gave me and my son great advice about training as a father/son duo and was a great guy to talk to, looking forward to his career as well.

Jose Benavidez jr: I think it's time this kid should get more exposure on tv, and he can start building his name up more, he's got a great amateur background and is known for giving Pacquiao some good rounds in sparring, I can't wait to see him move up in the ranks.

Well those are my top 3 for now..

got a chance to see dulorme live and he was a very accurate power puncher. terrific timing for a young pro. patient, too. he put a little bit too much steam on every shot, though.

i really like benavidez as well. lots of talent and i like his mentality. he spars to get better.

fortuna also has a ton of talent but he's raw. huge kid at 126-130 with power and speed.

He looks very good, he caught my eye a while back too. Did you see him last night? I missed the fight but I'll try catch it later.

Hes back on the Brian Rose undercard, glad hes staying so busy.
