I hate to be the fly in everyones soup, but for 2+ years team Chavez has ran from this fight like Usane Bolt. What makes anyone think they want the fight now? I'll believe this fight is happening when the bell rings

I laugh at everyone that gives Chavez Jr a chance. It's like when people actually believed Pacquiao had a chance against Mayweather, simply blind loyalty. I'm going to try and make it out to this one live. Can't wait to see Chavez Jr's face cut up, bruised and bloodied. It's either that or a quick reality check in the first 6 rounds with Jr kicking his hands and feet Montiel style. Really don't understand how anybody gives Jr a chance, steroids or not (most likely yes). Chavez JR's lack of defense and a jab are going to land him in a world of hurt when he finally realizes that he's getting hit clean with some thunderbolts.

          Guerra Martinez

Well, Martinez is no Andy Lee...
For the best comparison watch the Martinez-Pavlik fight again.
I think its gonna be something like that.

y'know what? its hard for me to accept, but arum was right for building this fight up and letting chavez get some good wins first.

arum actually delivered... no BS, no controversy, just contracts signed and ready.

I think Arum feels he's not going to make a lot of money off Chavez from here on unless the kid beats a name challenger. He's ******** that Jr can pull off a respectable performance against a highly regarded Sergio. And when the kid loses, a rematch can be justified.

Martinez can still move for 12 rounds. He may not get a KO but he'll pick Chavez apart.

I got all my points on Chavez Jr winning in bets. El Dinero de Vaca going to retire Maranina on Sep 15.

I got Chavez winning and I am sure they will have a rematch afterwards. I will never see Canelo, Chavez, or Martinez as being really great fighters. They just don't stand out enough, they lack the fire, the drive to demolish their opponents. Canelo is only popular because of his ****** red hair. If this dude had Blk or Bro hair I doubt he would be as popular. People are suckers for the dumbest reasons unfortunately.
You are crazy man....Sergio straight knocks everyone out but he doesn't have the drive or fire to finish opponents.....I think you have him confused with someone else.
