Garcia will win a few more fights at 140, mainly because all the good 140 pounders have moved up to 147. However, when he gets in the ring with a high quality opponent, he will likely get KO'd based on what I saw tonight.
That doesn't happen by accident. That's countless hours of work in the gym getting your timing right to the point where you can land it even "looking away."

I think once you go pro you can't go back.

Khan almost turned the tables and dropped Garcia in that next round.

I was scared Garcia was gonna punch himself out too. Good fight.

Round 3+ were so good, I have to download the fight and watch it again. What an aggressive attack by Garcia. He was right in questioning if Khan could take the same left hook Morales survived from. The question was answered tonight: He couldn't take it.

That was part of the game plan. Garcia Dropped his head but came back with the left hook. Had he been looking at Con he could not have landed the punch. It's a boxing move; drop under the punch, then throw a left hook.

this was a HARD loss.... i cant imagine how khan can come back from this. i really just dont understand khan. this kid has the tools and gifts to be a great fighter.... just ****** "gameplan" put his career on ice. khan couldve EASILY outboxed garcia from the outside all night... but his dumb ass wanted to show off and trade with a guy who has nothing to lose.... idiot move. the speed differential and clean punches landed were enough to seal the deal for a solid khan victory.... why he decided to trade and wrecklessly eat punches had me scratching my head.

suspect chin or not, khan took a solid wild hook to the NECK... i dont see anyone shrugging that one off.

freddie roach's dynasty is crumbling quick... he better pray JCC gets the win.

Exactly. However, the difference is that Martinez has proven after the William fight that he belongs among the elited fighters in the division and in the world. I have never seen Garcia fight before, but based on what I saw tonight, I don't think he will accomplish what Martinez has accomplished.
