The guy is throwing a punch with every intention of hurting the opponent and it's called luck if he lands it? The thrown punch has the same intention regardless of the level of technique applied or even if done under a crude manner. How can it simply be called luck when it does the damage you intended it to do?
Props to Danny for a tough fight and a tough win! I favored Khan due to superior athleticism and was honestly surprised that Garcia sparked him out in that fashion (even with Khan's history). Khan had the ability to overwhelm Danny with volume or clearly outbox him and chose to expose himself in a back and forth type of slugfest. Still unsure if Danny got lucky with that left or set it up. With the amount of wild misses in this fight/ Morales fight kind of feel like it was the right place at the right time but the kid can ****. Good to see a young hungry fighter get a good win over another young buck, boxing could use more of this.
I want to see Danny Garcia and Bam Bam Rios go at it, now that would be a fight, because Rios is a brawler and has a chin, styles makes fights and that would be a great fight for the brawler
That's what I said. Rios or what about Lopez or Bradley? I think all three of them beat Garcia pretty handily.
I thought Khan's speed & power would break down Garcia by the 9th or 10th rounds & even thou Garcia was landing a good shot here & there, in the first 2 rounds & in the beginning of the 3rd it seemed that way until Garcia landed that devastating left hook under the ear & dropped Khan like a bad habit!! Khan was game(like he's always been)& even landed some shots after that, but never fully recovered from that shot & his legs were never there so the stoppage was good..& I thought Bayless(who's a great reff & one of the best in the game)gave Khan an extra few seconds after the counts by asking Khan twice after the first 2 counts to give him the gloves so he could wipe them off when reffs usually just grab the gloves(without asking) & wipe them off & let them continue..But it was a GREAT victory for Garcia who is now the TOP DOG at jr welter by holding 2(WBC & WBA) of the 4 major titles & by beating Khan who was considered the top dog at that weight class..Now for Khan this is a MAJOR set back & lets see if he bounces back or maybe fires Roach(which I think he shouldn't) like he did with former trainer Jorge Rubio after he got KO'd by Prescott in the 1st round..
