Will hear th same after he destroys Chavez Jr, always is excuses from haters.
Boxing haters 99% of them are blinded with hate and can not give credit to a fighter no matter what.
He didn't K.O Pavlik, then again who has?
Lucky punch? He drew him onto that shot, yes he had his chin tucked & his head down to avoid a possible counter plus its almost impossible for a fighter to read. Go watch some videos of Bernard Hopkins he is a master of throwing an almost blind straight cross. (I know it wasn't a right cross, this was used as an example)
Cintron...lol
He K.Od Cintron and fully outboxed him only to get gave a draw, he beat his ass twice in one fight hahaComment

Hopkins didn't stop him either. Nobody has. Martinez just butchered his face. That first fight more than a few people scored it for Martinez. It was a very close fight. He erased all doubt in the rematch. He beat Cintron twice. KO'd him and then should have got a comfortable UD. That being said, Chavez Jr. is going to give him hell. But he'll be ready for the challenge.lets look at his best competition and see how he did?
pavlik Ud12 (couldnt ko a straight ahead pavlik) (hopkins took his soul)
paul williams1 he lost a MD (dont gimmi the 2nd fight was KO) martinez just landed a lucky shot that end'ed paul williams night hey its boxing it happens (carlos outboxed him in their 1st fight lol)
Cintron he got a DRAW even though i felt martinez won the fight by a large margin he couldnt finish a cintron comin off a UD win from ndou and a KO loss from margarito
moral of the story is CHAVEZ JR gonna win sep 15Comment

Given his ranking and record, I see a huge disparity in hype for Sergio in comparison for similarly ranked fighters (May, Pac) and even unproven guys (Chavez, Alvarez, Rigo, etc). Martinez truly gets the lest amount of hype when rank is consideredComment

He is a very good fighter and one of the best for sure. But he hasnt made boxers who arent actually great look real bad. If Pac had fought them he would have made them look as if they werent good enough to lace up his boots.
Sergio has had some nice performances and cos of it, became the in thing, but his performances since havent really justified the acclaim, not saying he aint good though, he is very good and its the speed that makes people rate him as high as they do. Speed is rather eyecatching and flashy and standing out is a good way to get yourself noticed in a world of mediocrity.Comment
