915 Angel, here is my reply to your points:

lets look at his best competition and see how he did?

pavlik Ud12 (couldnt ko a straight ahead pavlik) (hopkins took his soul)

Pavlik had two KOs since the hopkins fight. It wasn't like he went from a loss right into the Martinez fight. In fact, the Martinez fight was a cherry pick on his part to avoid Williams. Martinez beat a healthy, KO-capable Pavlik who was on a winning streak.

paul williams1 he lost a MD (dont gimmi the 2nd fight was KO) martinez just landed a lucky shot that end'ed paul williams night hey its boxing it happens (carlos outboxed him in their 1st fight lol)

Martinez was landing that shot at will. Couldn't miss that overhand left. His positioning was perfect each time.

Cintron he got a DRAW even though i felt martinez won the fight by a large margin he couldnt finish a cintron comin off a UD win from ndou and a KO loss from margarito

Cintron was KO'ed in the fight (saying he got a draw should give you an immediate ban). Also, got gift points from the Ref. Greatest robbery of all time. Robbed a few ways in a single fight.

moral of the story is CHAVEZ JR gonna win sep 15... if he has the same ref for the Cintron fight then yeah, it's possible.

Every fight since the ones you've mentioned have been KO wins by Martinez over people never KO'd (or KD) in some cases.

Chavez is next. Kelly can box and cover. That's what kept him standing. Junior only knows how to bullrush.

Sergio has had some nice performances and cos of it, became the in thing, but his performances since havent really justified the acclaim, not saying he aint good though, he is very good and its the speed that makes people rate him as high as they do. Speed is rather eyecatching and flashy and standing out is a good way to get yourself noticed in a world of mediocrity.
Seriously dude??? So, I guess pac made Bradly and Marquez look like they were not good enough to lace up his boots, right? Come on now. This is totally ridiculous to say the least. Put it this way...why didn't Pac want to face Martinez but was willing to face Margarito at 150lbs? We are not ******. I give credit to Pac but to act like the guy is a God is really just nonsense. Let's get real and give Martinez the credit he deserves. Too many haters out here....too many!

Sorry, but not going to happen. To me Chavez's come forward style will not work against Martinez who always look good against those type of fighters. The only advantage I see Chavez has is his weight that he carries on fight night.

HONESTLY I think he is UNDERRATED. Look at everyone in this thread besides a select few and then anywhere else on the web. Prediction videos on Youtube Elie Seckbach and Ring TV comments on their websites Youtube pages or Facebook pages. Every discussion Sergio Martinez is in it always goes like this: "Oh he beat a drunk Pavlik and an overrated Williams? Big deal". When people match him up to anyone it's always:

"He is ducking Pirog. He fights nothing but euro bums. He will be exposed if he steps in the ring with Pirog."

"Golovkin knocks him out easy. Sergio is weak. Pavlik dropped him. Margacheato stopped him. Easy work for Golovkin."

"Chavez JR is going to break Martinez down the same way he broke down Manfredo and Lee. The Williams punch was a lucky one in a million shot. His power is overrated. Not to mention Chavez has an iron chin."

"Ward is too big too smart and too strong." (This is true but I'm just saying)

"Kid Chocolate Quillin has been asking for the fight but Dibella and Martinez are avoiding him like the plague."

"When it comes to Mayweather size won't make a difference." (True again but I'm just saying)

"Pacquiao does a number on him like he did Margacheato."

I'm not even that big on Martinez. I think he loses soon but not to JR. His whole aura and glow of that 1 punch KO of Williams is long gone. He has more haters than fans now a days.

He is overrated, people speak as though he is one of this eras greats but compare him to the previous fighters in the weight classes he has campaigned in.

How would he do at 154lb against the likes of De La Hoya, Winky Wright?
How does he stack up against previous middleweights? Hagler, BHop, Roy Jones?

He profits from people fighting in a week division and people clamoring for him to fight smaller fighters. If his division had an elite or fringe elite boxer he'd get dismissed.

No hes not. Cintron fight he clearly won even by ko. Pwill fight 1st was even imo. the other fights were tough and he took care of them they were 31 contenders non like chavez opposition he is in another caegorie...

on top of all this he is a nutural 154 pounder whoo took Pavliks belt and he is staying there for the money...
in reality after chavez he should go for canelo
