Corrales had one of the best cases, but the KO4 loss in the rematch hurt him a bit.

Hatton has a big case beating Kostya in a fight not many expect him to have a chance and then unifying vs Maussa in an impressive win.

Lacy, probably not as he hasn't had a career defining fight like the other 3.

Then Taylor has a big case in his career defining fights with two big wins over Hopkins.

Ricky Hatton gets my vote, this year has been a huge year for him, and hes elevated himself at every opportunity.

He beat Carlos Maussa too, 2 belts in a year out of 2 different fights, not bad at all if you ask me.

I too voted for Hatton. I strongly disagree with the inclusion of Corrales. He had one good win then lost the rematch by a one punch KO loss. He shouldn't be considered based on his fan appeal. We want results people!

If you picked Corrales to be fighter of the year thats the funniest thing I've ever heard. Taylor beat 40 year old Hopkins twice, if anything it was more of a challange for Hopkins than Taylor. Hatton beat 2 seperate title holders including ackward fighter Carlos Maussa and the legendary Kostya Tszyu. It's an easy call for Hatton. To be honest, there hasn't really been a "fighter" this year that you can really vote for, but I'd say Hatton gets it. He's been out for a long time fighting and put his perfect record on the line twice against dangerous opponents.
