HBO will have a 24/7 for Dawson vs Ward! How do you feel about this?

I'm all for it. Anything to give this fight a little back story, because it seems like it just came out of nowhere. And it's a shame because it's a great fight.

I like it for my own personal reasons too....I was very high off Chad around the time he was fightin Hearns & Harding, that was when I was still in high school....and I felt he's largely disappointed for the most part, even though he's only lost to Pascal. I had a high ceiling for em and feel he still has a lot of unrealized potential. Ward, obviously, is one of my favorite boxers.

As far as the posters who alluded to Ward being the next p4p King, Ward is the next p4p king. And if there is anybody in or around his weight class that has the ability to change that, it'd be Chad Dawson.

i'm sick of all the mayweather and pac boring 24/7's. i'd like to see something new. These two are top american fighters and deserve more exposure. If only they produce the goods in the ring and for once be exciting positive fighters they can become stars.

I hope Ward does get the exposure, to the casual he is a boring fighter but he is also a potential atg fighter and his ability deserves reward.

I'm all for it. You have two of the top 10 pound for pound fighters in the world going at it who are both atop their respective weight divisions.

It doesn't much better than this.

And I don't really care whether this fight is accepted by the casual fans. This fight isn't for them. It's strictly for the boxing junkies. A chess match between to of the most skilled and athletically gifted fighters in the world today.

I think it's cool but maybe a 2 part series would of been better. A lot of people will say they are boring, in and out of the ring but there comes a time where we need to start accepting fighters that aren't the most exciting. Both these dudes are at the top of their game, in their prime and have so much skill. Time to pay these two their props.
