I think the thought that his power won't translate is wrong, but his power was always at the end of his reach (even lowly Jaco was at the end of a left) and he has to get back to using his jab more. The left hook is great but not at the expense of his jab. Maybe Loew was right....double the ****ing jab, Kelly.
Perfectly stated hopefully Garcia is simply using these opponents to force Kelly to work on these new parts of his offense. but asyou said he better go back to his roots using his jab and high volume punching to break his opponents down. Really Rosisnky I think fought the fight of his career thus far, fighting very smart. That was probably the best tuneup Pavlik could've hoped for.

I could get behind Arthur Abraham vs Kelly Pavlik. Probably Wouldn't really mean much in the macro-boxing-world but would likely be fun while it lasted.

I'll take Kelly by mid to late brutal KO @ 168 and AA by S or UD @ 160 as at this point seems like Pavlik might have trouble making weight.

I watched the fight and thought it was a good win for him. He got rounds in he needs badely and fought a pain in the ass mover who offered some frustration and alot of different looks which is what he needs to see. I always liked this kid but he never seemed disciplined in the ring and doesn't look to break down anyone, he wants endings to come and when they don't his lack of discipline bites him. I hope he continues to improve on his skills and has respect for his corner who was offering good advise throughout the bout. Ray
