he just does not have snap in his punches, his footwork does not coordinate

      with his hands...

i think the 3 year binge of alcoholic drinking ruined himself..

seriously, i think he is physically ruined, deteriorated from the drinking..

he just doesnt have the snap and pop anymore,
It seems like his punching power isn't as telling at 168. Don't know if it's the weight class or the alcohol.

Rosinsky is a guy that it is hard to look good against. We all know Pavlik has issues with non stationary fighters. Will is constantly on the move. If anybody thought Kelly was just gonna go in there and blast him away, you don't know much about boxing. Get a stationary fighter like Kessler in front of Pav and he will look better. I thought it was a good victory for him. anybody that knows any amount of boxing shoulda known it woulda been a tough fight.

          something is just off...

his punches do not snap anymore, it is as if he just torques them through

          the motions anymore...

he is not a crisp puncher anymore, his shots are just forced through the motion..

          just my opinion

I'm tellin ya'll, the reason Rosinsky didn't win tonight is because his fiancee was yelling throughout the entire fight, and it probably annoyed him to death. I know she annoyed me to death. I mean, we finally get a descent commentating crew, and I gotta listen to her yell his name umteen trillion times, and ended up having to use the MUTE button during certain times, just to shut her the hell up.

But seriously though, not a bad fight... I heard Pavlik say somewhere around the 3rd round (when they were in the corner) to Garcia that Rosinsky's punches were not hurting him at all. The only real criticism I'd give Pavlik at this time is "USE YOUR FARKING JAB, FOR THE LOVE OF DOG!!!!!!!". Dude has an insanely long reach, but he very very rarely uses his jab. Even when it looks like he's gonna throw a jab, it's really more like a slow one/two. Honest to God, Kelly could make life soooo much easier for himself if he would do some serious work on his jab and then use it, atleast 50% of his total punches in each round. I just don't get some of these long armed guys who rarely throw their jab.

Hard to land a consistent jab when a guy is constantly moving side to side and backwards. Rosinsky is just a hard fighter to get a rythm against. Hard for anybody to look good against a guy like Will.

I think the lack of punching power , is the higher weight class and inactivity , but time will tell, pavlik could grow into 168 and is throwing new types of punches that he could improve on , key is to not get too drunk between fights...

I thought it was a good fight against an opponent that was hard to look good against. I think the style Garcia has him fighting in is likely a little safer but i like him better when he just beat the **** outta people. I think the thought that his power won't translate is wrong, but his power was always at the end of his reach (even lowly Jaco was at the end of a left) and he has to get back to using his jab more. The left hook is great but not at the expense of his jab. Maybe Loew was right....double the ****ing jab, Kelly.
