Will was blocking those punches to the body also.

Kelly landed a few left hooks to the body, but besides that, Will blocked to the body and slipped/blocked upstairs.

Will won this fight. It was close, but he won it. I gave the early rounds to Will and the later rounds to Pavlik.

Definitely a lot closer than what you had it.... 7-2-1????? Seriously?

    • I don't see Kelly beating Froch, Kessler, or Ward.

Maybe Bute is chopped liver but the big 3 he ain't ****ing with.

      • Can't help but respect Pavlik. Speaks quite a bit sense in that post interview. At least IMO.

He knows if he performs like that against the guys he's calling out, its curtains.

Don't think he's got it in him though to beat Froch, Kessler or Ward.

        • This is simply a case of people underrating a very slick boxer in Rosnsky. The style that gives Pavlik trouble. If people really think Froch vs Pavlik would look the same youn don't know boxing.

Pavlik lands the right on Froch at will. I say make the fight next. Pavlik can win it.

The only guy who can beat Pavlik at 168 is Ward. Kessler and Froch don't have the speed to trouble him.

          • Donaire stops Mathebula, his left hook is tailor made for Mathebula's height, his lanky a$$ won't see it coming.

            • Pavlik gets hit way too much to handle the big guns at this weight.

And they can take his shots. Nothing they haven't seen before.'

I think so too. I had it 96-93 Pavlik.

I really think if this guy went down to 160 he would be a force.

Im not sure why Rosinsky fell asleep in that 10th round down, I sure didn't like that.

                  Judges scorecards were right on.
They were saying that Will "would have given a good account of himself and made the fight closer had he thrown more punches".........that doesn't sound like nuthugging to me, maybe I'm confused but.......I doubt it.

Yes but Froch will land his right at will as well. And I like Froch in a firefight. Even Pavlik said he needed to work out some things in the gym before he stepped to that level.

                    • this is a professional boxing match
you score the effectiveness of the blows round by round.

pavlik was doing more damage in most of those rounds.

rosinsky's punches werent turned over. he was slapping and pitty patting. he landed a few real power punches each round.

every punch pavlik throws is a hard punch. he turns shots over intuitively. his feet are always set because he's not the kind of fighter who can get on his toes. when he lands there is more value in terms of the scoring than when rosinsky lands.

you have to judge the effectiveness of the blows.

rosinsky gave a good showing and did better than expected. pavlik still clearly won the fight.
