Kelly landed a few left hooks to the body, but besides that, Will blocked to the body and slipped/blocked upstairs.

Will won this fight. It was close, but he won it. I gave the early rounds to Will and the later rounds to Pavlik.

Definitely a lot closer than what you had it.... 7-2-1????? Seriously?
Yes. Seriously. That fight wasn't that close. It was competitive. You might be underdog gazing a little.

AA may catch him but he's such a crappy boxer lately you just wonder what AA has left.
But Kelly's d is leaky. You don't want to be leaky against a puncher.

Froch and Kess eat him alive, and Ward flat out embarasses him.

If he goes toe to toe with AA, he might not last but I think he'd beat him in a UD/SD simply becuz of AA's inactivity.

Pavliks face was very red, cut and slightly swollen.

Will's face looked just as he entered.

We both know Pavlik hits very hard. Why no damage to Will's face since by your account, he landed the more devastating/damaging blows throughout the fight?
Maybe he doesn't swell a ton. Some guys mark up less.

            • Thing about Pavlik is, you can see he still has power, but he never lands punches in that zone anymore. His timing is off, many of his punches just clip his opponents. If he can get that timing and control of some range back, he will be a force again.

He can tell even when his punches that were smothered or blocked, have real power behind them, but he no longer uses his jab. that jab always setup his real right hand power. Something is missing.

I had him winning this fight fairly easily, but he better find his timing and jab if he wants success down the road.

the one clean shot he landed the whole fight, put the guy down

I had it pretty close too, I had it 5-5 with the KD being the difference.... but I also had to get up and pee a lot during the match

There are a lot of good fighters there that have been there. Nishioka, Poonsawat, all the 118 bantams coming up, Rigo, a ton of guys that can and will give him hard fights.

Nick Durandt made this point as well.

Nonito has got a lot to prove at 122.

Matehbula is a spoiler. Might not be the best fight.

Out of those 3 I would say Bika would be the best bet. I don't see Pavlik having a strong chance with Abraham, and Groves (who i love!) would sadly be completly outclassed. Pavlik's camp would like a fight with Bika though, if they could just get him in the ring! He seems to not fight very often at all.
