He probably meant that they were high on rosinsky till ledermsn read his card and then suddenly the commentators jumped ship.

Maybe Bute is chopped liver but the big 3 he ain't ****ing with.
I don't see Kelly bein able to beat Arthur Abraham either... what about you? Bute maybe, I would definetly say that is Pavlik's only chance against the fighters listed.

          • I am getting really annoyed by these people that think Donaire is just gonna run through 122.
There are a lot of good fighters there that have been there. Nishioka, Poonsawat, all the 118 bantams coming up, Rigo, a ton of guys that can and will give him hard fights.

Rewatch rsd 3-5 and tell it it wasn't disgusting. Those were 3 of Pavliks best rds, and HBO only talked about Rosinsky.

I really think if this guy went down to 160 he would be a force.

Im not sure why Rosinsky fell asleep in that 10th round down, I sure didn't like that.
He would be much better suited at 160 IMO given his body structure and toning. He could make that weight pretty easily, he has good skills....like an A- kind of a guy. He is more than capable of winning a belt, I'm impressed.

you score the effectiveness of the blows round by round.

pavlik was doing more damage in most of those rounds.

rosinsky's punches werent turned over. he was slapping and pitty patting. he landed a few real power punches each round.

every punch pavlik throws is a hard punch. he turns shots over intuitively. his feet are always set because he's not the kind of fighter who can get on his toes. when he lands there is more value in terms of the scoring than when rosinsky lands.

you have to judge the effectiveness of the blows.

rosinsky gave a good showing and did better than expected. pavlik still clearly won the fight.
I really don't think Rosinsky was pitty patting. I think you got that impression cause of the size difference. And when you're as big as Pavlik hitting a 5'10" guy, every punch would look hard. I think Rosinsky was landing shots pretty flush on Pavlik and even turning his head at times.

If we're judging by effectiveness, Pavlik's face compared to Will's says otherwise.

Pavliks face was very red, cut and slightly swollen.

Will's face looked just as he entered.

We both know Pavlik hits very hard. Why no damage to Will's face since by your account, he landed the more devastating/damaging blows throughout the fight?
