    khan flails compared to taylor, who turned his hands over and got his full body into most of his combinations. khan throws flurries, and even those were not as fast as taylor's hands. khan throws a lot of arm punches. he does well to mix in a hard shot at the end or somwehere in the flurry, but for the most part he's just moving his arms and upper body, which doesn't generate the kind of power taylor generated.
    I'd agree Taylor would have put more into his punches but I think Khans hands are faster, particularly 135-140.

    Anyway, I think Taylor was flattered by some very good early performances, a good showing against McGirt and Chavez and a boxing media which cravedt he next superstar in the days following the end of Leonard and the beginning of the end of Tyson. They eventually got that star with Oscar but Taylor was built up to be something he never was.

      Khan wouldn't beat Aaron Davis or Glenwood Brown, two guys Taylor beat after he had the loss to Chavez, and when he was at a weight class he was rather small for.

      That's just one example of how much better Taylor was than Khan. And I'm not even overly high on Taylor. I think he was an excellent fighter for a short period of time, and that's what he was always going to be, Chavez or no Chavez.
