Thurman hasn't fought nothing but tomatoe cans all his bouts & he wants 2 jump 2 a blown-up 140#er in Maidana...Marcos needs 2 get his head screwd on train hard & challenge @ 140 where he would b a force...Thurman is nothing, strong & crude...2 even mention him w/Alvarez is a diservice 2 the champ ATT...

he looks too good to them. (also stop trying to turn this around to a bad decision that doesn't even exist wtf)

maidana did the SAME EXACT THING AGAINST BRADLEY. has nothing to do with decisions. hell, he fought alexander in st louis because alexander looked venerable & like **** in his last fight. (did he care about a decision in st louis) no, because alexander looked venerable.

thurman looks scary therefore maidana runs, just like against bradley.

      (truth hurts)
not sure you know what venerable means...

I was thinking the same thing but done in the voice of the sword fighter from Princess Bride.

well guerrero pulling out because of an injury isn't really his fault though and i think maidana wanted fair judges for the alexander fight which was more than reasonable. the deal with bradley was some managerial dispute but let's not all pretend that never happens in boxing. even bradley himself pulled the same "stunt" against khan.

because ortiz, the one who got his ass beat and quit, said so?

All I read here was... Maidana and his team are scared of Thurman. So is this a duck?

maidana also turned down a morales rematch more than once, didn't want to fight mccloskey (okay joke fight but whatever) for financial reasons, and fought petr petrov instead...
but it's understandable that maidana doesn't want to become golden boy's gatekeeper, and wants big names for himself as well.

He's only gonna get "big names" as a gatekeeper. I think Maidana's time is running short already...
