They're going to strip Pirog before the Golovkin fight. N'jikam will either be upgraded to full Champion or he'll fight some scrub and win the belt. I never really understood why they were so hellbent on stripping Pirog but now there is talk of Cotto wanting to move to MW and it makes sense now. Strip Pirog, have Cotto fight N'jikam, have Cotto-Mayweather rematch for MW belt. Boxing corruption is chess not checkers. Got to be thinking several moves ahead and never underestimate their greed or complete lack of ethics.
Forgive me for trying to think positive thoughts lol. If you're right, then Geale has a bigger incentive to leave it all in the ring. He'd be doing boxing a favor by smacking Sturm around and taking the titles with him. It's the only way he'll get a fight with the other champions in the division. At the end of the day, the real fight is in the ring, not behind the scenes. Of course, Geale can and probably will get robbed. But, there's a possibility that he doesn't, and walks away with a victory he earned.

We'll deal with the future when it becomes a reality. If Sturm wins and drops the belt, then so be it. He'll still have to worry about Sergio, who's ranked #3 by the IBF.

I'm trying to give Sturm the benefit of the doubt in the situation. He can't be that big of a coward, can he? I'll be rightfully pissed if he does drop the title, but it hasn't happened yet. He hasn't even won the fight yet.

Allow me to fantasize of having an undisputed MW champion, I don't need to hear the negativity lmao

After Martinez takes care of Chavez (I still think team Chavez finds another way out of the fight), I think he will go after Canelo. Golovkin, Pirog, Gaele, and Sturm put together can't bring the kind of money Martinez will be looking for. Canelo can!

lol sorry im a realist and in boxing that mean pessimist. Yes i believe Sturm is that big of a coward just look at his history. Geale is feathed fisted and he won't get a decision. I wouldnt be suprised if Sturm won legit. If Sergio beats JCC then he'll be WBC Champion so it removes him from all the other ABC rankings so Sturm won't have to fight him.

        Look at the IBF rankings

        1. NOT RATED
        2. Sam Soliman
        3. Sergio Martinez
        4. Dominik Britsch
        5. Avtandil Khurtsidze
        6. Giovanni Lorenzo
        7. Osumanu Adama
        8. Darren Barker
        9. Kerry Hope
        10. Jose Miguel Torres
        11. Domenico Spada
        12. Predrag Radosevic
        13. Elvin Ayala
        14. Jermain Taylor
        15. Joe Green

lmao Stum could defend against the Soliman, Britsch, Lorenzo, and Spada's of the world for the next 5 years with ranknigs like that if he grabs the IBF belt.

If he gets past Chavez Jr he will go back down to 154 to get a fight with Mayweather.

That is one uninspiring list of fighters lol. Seems like Sturm got all his bases covered. It seems like the perfect storm, and I REALLY hope it doesn't come to pass. That is too damn depressing, why even continue fighting if he's planning to fight that type of opposition? The money trumps all.
