Foreman was in his absolute prime. Neither Hagler nor Leonard were really when they fought.

Hagler is a far greater fighter than Foreman, based on ability and all time greatness(only a complete and utter ****** would dispute that) - and a faded, inactive, blown up welterweight outboxed and beat him when he was universally regarded as the very best in the sport.

Leonard's victory over Hagler is one of the absolute greatest victories in the history of this sport, regardless of silly revisionist history.
