Maybe, maybe not. I wonder if Juanma would move up for this fight, or would Russell have to move down. imho, Lopez's punch resistance issues would fix themselves if he campaigned at 130 instead of 126.

Lopez would have a size and reach advantage on Russell, but I still think Lopez's lack of defense will have him getting caught over and over. Russell might lack the punch, but he has the speed.

I give Lopez a better chance at 130 cuz the physical advantages would make more of a difference. I doubt this fight would ever pop off cuz it simply doesn't make sense just yet. Lopez is still on leave, and Russell doesn't have a real track record yet. Maybe in a couple years.

And he couldn't convincingly stop a past-prime Marquez. Juanma has been stunned by fighters with less athleticism, and Russell has some skill to complement that athleticism. His hand-speed and counter-punching ability will give Lopez plenty of problems. I don't see how this is an easy fight for him.
