It was a dead even fight and Ortiz was breaking down and beginning to run. Lopez outdid him in total punches and especially power punches

I don't know what some of you were watchin but Lopez was taking His soul or what's left of it after maidana and Floyd

This is a really dumb thing to say, who's to say Lopez wouldn't have knocked him out during those last rds? How is he lucky... he landed a great shot on Ortiz's jaw and broke it. No different from a guy winning 9 rds straight and gets KO'd in the 10th, its not luck - it's boxing. Winning on cards when you haven't gone through the whole stretch doesn't make you a winner. It's really sad to see people not giving Lopez his full credit, he was a much smaller guy who made the bigger and stronger guy succumb to his injuries.

Luck is when talent and skill meets opportunity~

Ortiz's mouth was open (opportunity) and Lopez cracked him breaking his jaw (talent and skill).

So sure you can call it luck if you want~

How do you Lopez wouldn't have won the rest of the rounds? How do you know Ortiz wouldn't have been dropped/KO'ed?

Victor was too macho, when he gets hit he has the heart of a lion and fights back instantly, almost like Nigel Benn. He needs to curb that instinct when he's the better boxer and fight to his strengths.

Would be interested to hear what others think.
That's actually why the straight right hand was landing, or why every time Ortiz came in he got clipped with an uppercut, because he didn't opt to stay in his chest. Vic was suppose to smother him, impose his strength and size against the much smaller foe.
