Lopez going to whip him worse in the rematch in my opinion.
    1) He won't be taking the fight on short notice
2)It will be his second fight at WW and he will have time to adjust to the weight
    3) He will have knowledge of Ortiz style
    4) Ortiz is a spaz and will breakdown at the first sign of adversity

If he broke his jaw in R5 then how is it he seemed fine and then after R6 when Danny Garcia asked him how he was, he said 'fine'?

I like how every day the round the jaw was broken in is earlier. It reminds me of how he initially said he just lost his cool when he headbutted Floyd, and that eventually turned into "retaliation for all the elbows."

Pretty soon he will be claiming it was broken in the first round.

I would love for someone to name one fighter that fought on with a broken jaw and had their career ended because of it. I really want just one name, and I'll shut up.

                I call BS!

This Arellano guy is a loud mouth showman. No doubt this dude had an open mandible fracture. But, no ****ing way was he going to exsanguinate from venous bleeding. The biggest vein in that area is the facial vein. And its plausible that it could have been severed. But, to state it as if he was bleeding from one of the great veins is BS. Jus say the guy had a broken jaw and leave it at that.

No sane person can blame him for not continuing. I can see him constatnly being hit In the jaw causing repeated trauma to his facial nerve that sits directly under his jaw bone. No of you armchair warriors could continue through that pain.

I dislike the guy for many reasons. But, him calling it a day this weekend was justified.

Difference was Abraham got it broken while it was closed. Ortiz while it was open. When closed it can get locked and you can bite down and still go asla Ali vs Norten. So before you talk smack know some facts man.

If you look at the film/video when they walk back to the locker room. You can see him bend over and blood rushes out of his mouth. Not spit, blood. So maybe it was as bad as cutting your neck if that's what your expecting. He did have alot of blood coming from his mouth

yeah he was leaking a lot of blood, a very unhealthy amount of blood loss

but of course we have keyboard warriors like bojangles1987 that would have kept going...right?
