All the accumulated punishment from the Khan fight took miles off of him and thats he why looked bad vs Morales and he didn't carry his power to 147 vs Devon who just clinched him to victory. Maidana has never been the same fighter since the Khan fight, 12 rounds of eating fast volume punches along with a crippling bodyshot will take a lot out of you.

I was dissapointed at how Khan struggled with Peterson but still thought he clearly won. Also look at the fight night weight HBO shows prior to the fighter entrances. Peterson came into the ring at 155 lbs that night and only came into the ring at 147 lbs vs Bradley and Ortiz. It was def. a bigger man that Amir fought. I'd like to see a rematch at WW because I think Amir can win easily if they're on the level, could be wrong though.

I think Khan is quoted out of context a lot. But he always says something ****** in his interviews that overshadows everything he said before. He's only 25 and has 2-3 yrs to improve. If he can learn to better handle himself vs pressure fighters he can be a force. He doesn't really have to fight on the inside so much as learn how to fight on the backfoot.
Great point. I think Khan still won even with the 2 deductions (or a draw if I gave PEDerson the benifit of the doubt on a few rounds). Peterson had 6-7 pounds on khan on fight night. Doesn't sound like much but man that is ALOT especially at 140 pounds - its a very visible difference.

I think a lot of it has to do with his personality and how he comes across. With Floyd, you can tell it's all just an act and that he's not really like that when the cameras are off, but I get the feeling that Amir Khan is exactly how he acts, and that he genuinly believes all the nonsense that comes out of his mouth. I also think he is very overrated as a boxer. People keep mentioning this guy as a potential opponent for Floyd Mayweather and he keeps talking about it too. That annoys me first of all because he's not even remotely close to Floyd's level and secondly because he has done absolutley nothing to deserve it. I think people also detest the way he moaned and complained like a b!tch after the Lamont Peterson fight and acted like he was owed a rematch, when he didn't even think about giving Maidana a rematch after a bout which I thought was even closer. So there you have it. He's annoying, he's very overrated, he's a hypocrite and he also trains with a guy who is a well known PED Guru.

He seems like a complete ****. Even when he's in the right he acts like an idiot. For example when Peterson tested poisitive I was 100% in Khan's favour and believe it should be a DQ, as it should IMO be when anyone uses steroids for a fight.

But even then, Khan came out with ****** comments like "I thought he was on something when he came back from those 2 heavy knockdowns like that, that wasn't what I saw when I watched tapes of him".

WTF is this, did he not watch him against Ortiz or Bradley? Those were by far his most important fights, and he got dropped but came back strong from it in both fights, and you can make a case that Khan's KDs of him weren't even legit. So it's just nonsense, just a complete ****** talking for the sake of talking.

Then you throw in his help from Brit officials against MAB and McCloskey, when he again acted like a **** about it afterwards as did his fans. Barrera should've been stopped in the first and McCloskey should never have been stopped at all, and neither of those guys were legit opponents to begin with. I think he avoided Maidana for as long as he could, I think he avoided Bradley until Bradley has promotional issues and then made a big deal of calling him out when he knew TB couldn't accept because of the Shaw situation.

Also almost all of his fans are incredibly annoying. VCVC for example should be thrown in a volcano and then the volcano should be nuked or something.

He fights the best tries to unify his division and is in exciting fights. So of course I like him.
