they are banned because they are performance enhancers in many ways. not weed as much as coke, but they can give fighters the edge in fights.

I'd almost rather fighters be able to take a shot of alcohol or do a couple lines before a fight than PED's. edit: kidding

If you wanna talk about which country does best testing, its probably Germany

Couldn't Happen To A Better Loud Mouth!!!

I thought Tarver was looking puffy in the face. Now this goes to show his wanting to call out the Klitschkos, thinking he's on some regimen that assists him with these naturally bigger and stronger fighters. Tarver will have another orchestrated response of someone else's wrong doing, not his. What a clown. That should eliminate him from Hall of Fame consideration.

But for pro martial arts there was/is no testing in Japan. All the Pride & K-1 legends were on it (but honestly most UFC fighters are on it too since the commission testing is a joke in America). I don't think the pro boxing commission in Japan has the $ to do testing like the organized amateur associations (im just guessing).

Either way, in the end Olympic and cycling athletes are the most tested in the world and they still cheat all the time. There is no way to clean any sport where money is involved.
well this is true, lance armstrong was the most tested athlete in the world. and he never got caught. lmao. its crzay when u think about it. i guess the chance for a big payday outweighs all other concerns in the end.

i know sauerland, which is the main promoter in germany does ost and makes most if not all of their fighters do it with the backing of the networks, so this might actually be true.

Well a line of coke will only last so long and I can see the short term benefits like the adrenaline and numbness that occurs. But if you have ever done coke, I think you can agree it would be pretty idiotic to go into a boxing match coked up lol.
