I don't believe that Tarver was using steroids for his whole career. Maybe he started to compensate for getting older but who knows...

This is disappointing. Tarver might have a shot at clearing his name if his B sample comes up negative. Anyways, I think the recent string of fighters testing positive shows that boxing is testing for PEDs better than ever, which is a good thing.

Seems there is a big drug problem with high profile American boxers.

I wonder how many more are using or used but have gotten away with.

Lets not ignore this pattern and lets not make excuses for these cheats.

This does seem to be the case lately. Are the testing agencies implementing some new technology or testing methods in the last few months which could explain why so many athletes are now testing positive?

              Bull****!

This is bull-**** man. Tarver is not on PED's. It just doesn't make sense. Look at his body, it has always looked the same. What is happening with this "flawed" drug testing is that it is so sensitive that it registers false test results. When I think of boxing and it's so called drug testing, I immediately think "all over the place" Unless it's done 365-24/7 like ND is going to do, it is flawed because that is true Olympic style testing. All of you immature posters shut up and educate yourselves. I also do not believe Berto cheated either. Something very corrupt is going on in the Sport of Boxing imo. They need to sit down and go over what a boxer normally takes, what it does, and whether or not it should be considered a banned substance. Too many fighters are testing positive. You think it's just IRONY? 'Cause I don't.

If Tarver is on steroids, I'm starting to believe everyone in boxing is on steroids. That might expect the one punch KO of Jones when he never came close in the first fight. Similar to the difference in power between the two Willliams/Martinez fights.
