I know he acted like an idiot and should have been punished, i cant help but feel a bit sorry for him, especially when they banned him too, no money and no job like a day adter a world title fight, that must have been pretty hard to take.

you are right! mandatories are usually 75\25 split but the klitschko's are so cheap that wlad put in a request to make it 85\15 split & he got his wish...thompson will get a 7 digit payday. the klitschko's don't make 20 million a fight. they got no PPV money with their contract with german TV. david haye brought more money to the table to for the klitschko fight then wlad did. it was wlad who was causing the contract problems. he wanted haye to give him 50% of the british PPV money & haye said split the purse, you get your german tv money & i'll keep my british PPV money. this came right from the mouth of the klitschko's advisers...

The klitschko's don't make 20 million a fight. they got no PPV money with their contract with german TV.

Maybe 20 mil was a bit excessive but I'm sure they make many millions they fill out 50'000 seater stadiums and rake in sponsership money and although they don't do ppv they still have a TV deal in place and lets be real it's not like they put on expensive cards.

Their making an absolute killing, that Broente guy is a massive prick but he knows how to make money it would seem.

2 or 3 million is pretty good considering it's not the not heavyweight division. the money use to be at heavyweight but not these days...

the klitschko's pay their opponents 7/8X less than mayweather and lets be honest as big a cash cow as May is he doesn't make 7/8X more than the Klitschkos.

Manuel Charr is not a big name and is lucky to have this opportunity to fight for a title.

Mariusz Wach deserves it more. He'd make for a more interesting matchup, as would Bermain Stiverne.
