How much was Gamboa getting for Rios again?
Exactly! Gamboa would have taxed that ass and would have become a big star while making a shitload of money. Pulling out was not smart at all.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't MP lack an actual promoters license or something? I mean why is all of Mayweather's fights co-promoted by GBP? Don't get me wrong I'm all for Gamboa leaving Arum but it seems to me it would have been smarter if he went straight to GBP.

P.S. I stopped reading after page 6. Kinda drunk. Also while I have no idea how much Gamboa was making, it seems to make fiscal sense to me to whoop Rios and make Arum make me the future of the TR. I'm sure Arum screwed him, but paying for MP and GBP can't be cheap plus the buy out. Either way I just want to see Gamboa back in the ring but for me it makes more sense for Rigo to buy out of TR. That guy seems to have no future at TR.

You forgot to put 'bull**** descision against Manny Pacquiao' on your little list.

At least he should be back in the ring soon. Talent like that shouldn't go to waste.

They have Kirkland, pretty sure he's passed on a Lara fight before. James is not a star proper, close enough. Lara would drop down to 150 or lower for a bigger name also.

gamboa could have boxed circles and maybe stopped rios late if he had accepted that fight...

abril won that fight, but where the hell abril is now?... if that was gamboa, all the marketing and pr of Top Rank could be in full swing by now...

what a waste of time, money and talent...
