cotto can box well, just not consistently for 12 rounds. he'll get tired, chavez might legitimately do another margarito job on him. I just don't see cotto winning that fight. But honestly, Cotto belongs no where near 160...he's like 5'7, not a huge puncher, 154 is his max.

it's the same thing with bute...........most modern boxing fans are nothing more then band wagoners. here you have chavez jr. A guy who has never fought anything close to a cotto being hyped as the winner (not only the winner, but by tko)

andy lee has always been c level, andy lee is a garbage fighter with decent "looking" potential (& always has been) he gasses & he's very fragile. thats why i wanted the kid chocolate/lee fight to come off because lee would have been ko'd within 3 rounds, exposing him.

chavez does not put on relentless pressure (& never will) only a noob who've never really studied chavez jr. would think this.

chavez jr's pressure comes in SPURTS (he's no margarito) which is a ******ed game plan & will get you hurt against cotto. you have to be a VOLUME pressure fighter, this is what you all are missing.

along with his spurt pressure, chavez jr. also gets discouraged easily if you have a jab in his face (lee moved away from his jab early in the fight)

I saw chavez jr. get out boxed against Sebastian Zbik. (if you think he won A CLOSE CLOSE decision, u still can't deny how easily he was out boxed for most of that fight)

I broke down the bute vs froch fight in a similar manner months ago before it even happened because EVERYONE was claiming that bute was gonna savagely ud or ko froch...........i knew this was ******ed.

boxing is NOT about whats "new" & ban wagoning fighters. you have to actually break down & study these 2 guys.

I am a Cotto fan but Chavez is too damn big at fight night. he will outweight Cotto by like 25 pounds.

No, he's not a great fighter. But you need to realize that Cotto isn't less of a great fighter just because he wouldn't be able to beat a man that's much larger than him. Use logic with this one.
