Andy ***n lee huh, lol. Hee's your prototype fr determining if a fighter can hang? Obviously it probably wouldnt be wise for cotto to sit in the pocket and trade, but chavez can be outboxed, and cotto has quite a boxing skillset. His jab will frustrate chavez, constantly making chavez move and pivot will frustrate him, and more than likely tax the hell out chavez' drained body.

I dont like the matchup for cotto, its very margarito'esque and chavez puts a hell of alot of pressure on someone. But at the end of the day, if cotto is in great shape, he can pull out the decision imo.

Good fight, but Chavez' youth takes this one. Cotto's little punches won't be able to even move Chavez.

Also Cotto would request OSDT and Chavez wouldn't agree so it won't happen.

aside from the size advantage, chavez jr actually has a good chin, good body work and can cut the ring...he will stop cotto in the late rounds.

the only way cotto can beat chavez is if he bribes the judges like a certain person did against manny .

the only reason cotto survived against mayweather was because mayweather is feather fisted . chavez on the other hand isnt.

            peace be with you

I believe Cotto is the better boxer of the two but I just can't see him keeping Chavez off of him for 12 rounds. Cotto would have to be in absolutely amazing shape for him to win because his cardio would be pushed to the limit. My head says Chavez in the middle rounds, just too big. My heart thinks if Cotto was in the best shape of his career he might win on points.

Absolutely not. This is an easy KO win For Chavez in my opinion. Chavez pursues his opponents relentlessly, throwing bombs. He walks through hard punches. That's Cotto's worst nightmare. He will have Cotto running backward after a few rounds no matter who trains him.Cotto knows better than to take this fight in my opinion.

I think most people put it down to size, there will be 25lb - 30lb weight difference come fight night.
