The ones really getting hurt here are the fighters, because part of their compensation is likely to be from a PPV upside. Going head-to-head with another PPV is going to hurt the bottom line for everyone, no matter how you look at it, because the customer base for the PPV as well as for the live gates is being split between the 2 shows.......

Has there been any statements from Kizer as to whether he would even allow this to happen?

All you ******s need to stop paying For these fights. Just wait and watch them one week later for free or watch them online for free. We as fans are getting ripped off with these ridiculous PPV rates.

I won't be paying for any of these fights anymore-enough is enough, until we see manny vs floid we shouldn't pay for any ppv.

Yes, I believe Sergio Martinez as an overall boxer has a fan friendly style. Maybe not the rounds when he isn't too active by throwing less than 30 punches per, but, he usually has a decent work rate with a better than average connect percentage. He has 10 knockdowns with 4 stoppages in as many fights, including the KO of the year. His 2 previous fights against Pavlik/ Williams I were also very entertaining bouts. The guy has speed, power and enough defensive holes to make a must see style. I'd love to see a current top 10 list of fan friendly fighters without Sergio's name on it.

Golden Boy - Canelo vs Ortiz, Ponce de Leon vs Gonzales
Top Rank - Chavez vs Martinez, Arce vs Jesus Rojas, and Brandon Rios???, Plus HBO is backing it up with a 24/7 to hype the fight. Showtime has no outlets and probably will force GB to back off to another day.
Im going to buy Martinez vs Chavez Jr

Make a Rios/Alvarado co feature and it's a no brainer. I agree with your HBO vs Showtime 100%

Personally, I will NEVER purchase another TOP RANK PPV again! The Pac robbery had to have been orchestrated by Bob Don King Arum.

So Jr. beat Andy Lee, great - does anybody take into consideration the fact that Jr. is walking in 20 lbs. heavier than his opponents and struggling to knock them out? He IS a cheater. Never wants to provide piss after his fights - what is he hiding? Refused to weigh his gloves against Andy Lee - something that would have taken all but 2 minutes to do and refuses to submit to VADA testing! On top of all that, he is a Top Rank fighter - if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, smells like a duck it's probably a f'n CHEAT!

Can't wait for Martinez to run circles around the slow Jr. and land multiple solid hooks/straights all night.

Here's an interesting bit of news that should have all the maybugs skittering around as if running from insecticide.

"Joe DeGuardia of the Boxing Promoters Association has announced that virtually every single promoter in the USA is united on the need for properly grading boxing judges. That the bad judgements in the Pacquiao-Bradley fight has put everybody on the same side and that it's neccessary and urgent". (paraphrased)

                  Good news I believe....eh?

We may be deciding which college football game we are going to be watching that night if that's true.
But seriously can someone please explain to me "If Ortiz loses what does that mean for his fight with Canelo?" That's all I want to know.
Florida State does play Wake Forest that night. Im not missing that game

Canelo vs Ortiz will be the more entertaining fight, it will likely end in a K.O. Martinez is going tag Chavez with his left for 12 rounds.
