I wasn't satisfied with Stewart's advice in the fight. It was obvious that Chavez was going to eventually catch up to Lee, but Stewart kept telling Lee that Chavez was tired and all Lee had to do was box. I don't think Chavez was tired at all, and if all Lee had to do was box, why was Chavez getting inside and whacking him with power shots? I feel if Lee could have adapted more or if Stewart gave him better advice, it might've gone to a decision.

However, remember it is Margarito who is the only man to have ever TKO Sergio, by cutting off the ring, taking away his legs and neutralizing his footwork. That is the true formula in defeating Martinez; Pressuring and swarming on the inside while trapping him along the ropes and corners so he can't move his feet.

And that's how I hope Chavez will beat Martinez, it will be a great fight for sure.

There are many differences in the styles of Margarito and Chavez, like the body punching, the stance and movement, etc.

Chavez Jr physically stronger than Sergio Martinez. I see Sergio getting hit with body punches while Chavez back him up against the ropes. Chavez Jr. has a very strong chin and a heavy hands that Sergio will fade in the later rounds.

Stewards' advice was all about reinforcing Lee's confidence... It seemed as if after Emanuel realized how much stronger Chavez was than Andy, he was reduced to a motivator.

Lee would've been better served constantly implementing Emanuel Stewards' patented move: holding on the inside and walking Chavez back. Lee wasn't as strong physically and Chavez wouldn't have complied easily to being held onto, but he didn't need that to consistently tie Jr. up. Lee could've continued to outbox him on the outside and negate JCC's advantages on the inside by doing that, Jr.'s eventually going to get tired because that's what the tactic is designed for.

Jr is slow footed, slow hands and he looks for the body when in range, which is bad, He doesn't have eyes on eyes or hands but eyes on body, thus he gets hit a ton. He will walk into that fast jab and that left will land flush a bunch.

Jr has a good chin vs slow, none powerful guys, but Martinez is the opposite. He basically had soft guys in Zbik, Manfredo, Lee.

His drills are too hard on fighters. He is good but an average guy wouldn't be able to do what he gets them to do without burning out IMO.

You guys are hollering about how much bigger and stronger Chavez Jr is but not even considering that Sergio Martinez is a way better fighter than Andy Lee could ever dream to be. Sergio is a surgeon and he is going to chop Chavez Jr's ass down systematically. Sergio is KO'n big guys just like Chavez Jr. Sergio has 4 KO's in a row and Jr is going to be the 5th. I'm ready to bet with whoever on here thinks other wise.
