Let's be honest: JCC JR could've rolled in eating a bag of cheetos, drinking a Mountain Dew, and weighin in at 180 pounds and there wouldn't be a damn thing Andy Lee, Emanuel Steward, or the state of Texas could do about it.

    JCC JR calls the shots.

The first part of your statement is correct: Sergio has no fans and generates no $$$ whatsoever.

As for the second part: Sergio is an overrated fraud.

JCC JR KO's Sergio in whatever round he damn well pleases.

Not going to lie, I thought Chavez would intentionally come in at 161-162, forcing him to give up his title, and then he'd move up in weight. I was wrong. Hopefully Chavez wins so we can see Chavez-Sergio.

The difference is they at Welterweights and Julio is a Middleweight who got his title shot because the WBC stripped Sergio for no reason, and has refused to fight him since.

I didn't realize Lee was that tall. Sadly he's really not any good, and even if he was he'd have to KO Jr to win.

Chavez looks very dehydrated at this weight. He really needs to move up a weight class after this fight. He has a wide upper body and he clearly struggles to make weight. Sr. should encourage him to move up.

He's also a Middleweight calling out Welters... if he really wants Mayweather to fight him he needs to move back to 154lbs. Why doesn't he fight the winner of Pirog and Golovkin instead of all these bums @ 160lbs? His best wins were Kelly Pavlik and Paul Williams. You have to make a name for yourself before earning a shot at the stars... boxing has always been that way.
Macklin isn't a bum, and Barker did a decent job despite being a relative unknown and untested. Pirog and Golovkin haven't even fought anyone on the level of Mack/Barker. "Why doesn't (insert name) fight (insert possible opponents)?" If everything flowed the way it should, then Sturm would be fighting Golovkin, Chavez would be fighting Martinez, and Geale would be fighting Pirog.
