I seen Mayweathers name and then didnt read the rest. If weight was not an issue he would beat anybody at the minute!!

I also think his punches have been more powerful recently too compared to a few years ago when he was fighting the likes of Judah, Baldomir, De La Hoya and Hatton.

Deciding between mayweather/ward was hard but I decided 2 listen to ward when he said floyd is the master until he is beaten. Also even tho Bradley beat PAC u can't put he higher since he was totally outclassed.

              1.Floyd

              2.pac/ward/Martinez/Marquez in no specific order

I agree with those who say floyd took bac #1 when he came bac and beat the #2 p4p at the time Marquez and has never had to look bac. Every fighter he's faced since then has been#2-#5 in their divisions or in pfp rankings so Until he loses or retire i dont see anyone over taking him. All of pacs opponents since 08 have been #5 and UP so i cant place him #1 when he is not beating any ranked fighters to move up and honestly its hard to even place him at #2 or 3. But to be fair to pac, he is fighting exclusively in what his 7th weight division? How many fighters can do that and still compete at elite level? Pacs the only one to do it (in history) so imo i respect that even tho he hasnt been looking too good recently.

Im curious to kno why people have Ward ahead of Floyd though. Not that i think its a bogus opinion or anything, i just would like to know how.

no way Floyd is number 1, Ward will move to number 2 if he beats Dawson.
Floyd Mayweather is not only P4P#1, he also simultaneously #1 at WW and jrMW.

No one on this list has his success along with his longevity at the top against #1,#2 & #3 competition in each division.

And even now as Floyd approaches the end of his prime, he's still consistent with his efforts against the best.

I like Ward, but his wins over Kessler, Abraham and Froch do not quite put him @ #1.

He's definitely taking the world by storm though. He's Floyd's heir apparent more than he's #1.
