i dont care what divisional rankings say, at the end of the day mathebula is not a better fighter than mares at any weight. so like i said based on your argument, pac would have been fighting a better fighter if he was fighting lets say, randal bailey or selkuk aydin instead of tim bradley because all bradley has done at 147 was beat a bum???

dude, ur not even making sense anymore. ward fights nowhere near the same weight class as mayweather or pac. meanwhile donaire and mares are fighting in the same weight class and were only 1 weight class apart before this year. ur analogy is ****.

Technically Mares hasn't fought at the divisional limit of 122..... Mathebula has a better resume then Mares AT 122.... If it makes u feel better substitute Ward for Martinez and my argument is still valid no???

Glad he picked him over Mijares.... I'm looking forward to seeing how Donaire copes with Mathebulas height since Donaire will be the shorter fighter for a change.... I can understand y Donaire wants the Arce fight but scratch that I'll rather see Nishioka then Rigo n that order.... Then if he wants to pick off Arce cool.... In a perfect world that's what I would like to see

Well I'd love to see Rigo in with Donaire, Nishioka, Mares, Moreno, or Arce, but those just aren't going to happen anytime soon.

In the meantime, fights with Molitor, Shimoda, Ndlovu, or even the Vazquez-R.Marquez winner would be good.

smh...why is this difficult for u to understand. mathebula doesnt have to make 118. we are talking about 122. and it still wouldnt matter. how about this, mares is a better fighter than mathebula at any weight either of them could make. does that make u feel better? because at the end of the day mares vs. donaire is a better fight.
