Escobedo gaurantees a win. So did Hatton against Pac and many other fighters said the same thing. It means nothing, otherwise Mayorga would be PFP#1 for 10 years now.

here we go with Hyping Up Broner's opponent again...then if he wins..."ESCOBEDO WAS A BUM"

more interesting though is the fact that this will be Broner's last fight at 130 and he will be moving up to 135 as people been asking for him to do, has some pretty good competition at 135, would love to see him against Hank Lundy, the trash talking and the build up for that fight would be GREAT! Also Vazquez, Burns (if he doesn't run away from Broner again lol), Abril and DeMarco

Nope. If Broner wins then he's a legitimate champion cuz up until now the only decent fighter on Broner's resume is 126 lb. Ponce de Leon.

How were Litzau (Top 10 SFW), coming off beating Caballero in a close fight, and Perez (Top 10 SFW), his mandatory, not legit fights????

Escobedo isn't a "bum", but he isn't really good or great. He's a decent fighter, and this is a decent stay busy fight. The same people saying Escobedo could give Broner problems are the same people who were saying Perez would, who called Perez a bum after the fight.

Litzau beat Caba at a weight Caba has proved he doesn't belong and that's Litzau's best win..... Perez was on coke

You gotta admit if those are your best wins you can see why some ppl are rubbed the wrong way about him especially considering his attitude is like hes the 2nd coming

^^^ Me personally I don't care about that.... I'm just not sold on him yet... Has talent though

I get why, but those were solid fights going into them. And it wasn't Broner's fault that Ricky Burns straight up avoided him, vacated and went to Lightweight instead......

True. By the way, I like the Mathebula fight for Donaire, I know we always debate about him. It's a good fight against a champ, Top 10 SBW, and Mathebula arguably beat Caballero and did beat Ndlovu.

Would like to see Donaire-Arce or Donaire-nishioka in the fall. Of course I'd like to see Rigo-Donaire, but yeah......

Unless you're a prime Roy Jones or prime Mike Tyson...or the king of upsets, Bernard Hopkins, you shouldn't be guaranteeing anything in a boxing match.

The only thing that is guaranteed to happen in this fight is a Broner ass whooping. Escobedo should have guaranteed something more realistic like, winning one round before getting knocked out. Which would still be a tough task. Escobedo is a below average fighter, who a lot of people say is a good fight for Broner, but then after Broner destroys him, he wasn't that good.
