I didn't realize you were this new to boxing, I apologize. Being hurt in boxing isn't the same as like "ow a paper cut, that hurt".

Hurt is a term for when a fighter is in danger of being stopped. Taylor was never in that position. I suppose you think Sturm hurt De La Hoya too, right?

Wrong. Sturm dominated the fight, but he never had De La Hoya hurt.

Learn your boxing terms and we'll talk someday, ok?

I thought a 40 year old Hopkins narrowly beat Taylor twice. Even if you had it the opposit, Hopkins gave Taylor fits.

Give him the lungs and reflexes he had when he was 35 and he stops Taylor.

              Prime for Prime Right..

Taylor not totally at his Prime give him a good 4 years. I would give taylor the benefit of the Doubt cause hes not at his prime yet.

Hopkins was really getting apreciated after he defeated blown up Welterweights like De La hoya y Trinidad.

Taylor may not be a great fighter but he fought the right fight. Had he of foguht Taylor five years ago he still would have respected the **** out of Taylor and he would not have gone after him at all.

This fight is still just as boring had it of taken place 5 years earlier for Hopkins-that is just the type of fighter he is against a dangerous opponent.
Agreed. 5 years ago Hopkins was a tad quicker and would have one a couple close rounds. I give Hopkins a slight edge five years ago.
