I really like Bradley but this is bulls***. He knows he lost and now he's going to proclaim himself P4P? GTFO.
Bradley proclaimed himself as the #2 p4p

Just out of curiosity; If he now considers himself the #2 p4p fighter in the world because he defeated the #1 p4p fighter in the world in Manny Pacquiao, then who does he currently consider the #1 p4p fighter of the world; Money Mayweather? One would think that technically speaking, that he would consider himself the new best p4p fighter in the world since beating the Pacman, unless he never considered him the best pound for pound fighter in the first place.Comment

Rankings don't work that way. What happens is the person ranked number 1 drops several places, the person who is number 2 moves to number one and the person who beat the number 1 moves up several places.Just out of curiosity; If he now considers himself the #2 p4p fighter in the world because he defeated the #1 p4p fighter in the world in Manny Pacquiao, then who does he currently consider the #1 p4p fighter of the world; Money Mayweather? Also I wouldn't have a problem with placing Ward over Mayweather p4p. I'm waiting on his fight with Dawson.Comment

P4P can work any way people want. It's a silly parlor game. If one wanted to move Ward way up to #1 after Froch, so be it. This doesn't merit acting like there are rules.Rankings don't work that way. I was just about to say that. Pound for pound is purely subjective. Bradley can believe he's number 1 p4p and there is nothing anybody can do about it.Comment

There are procedures to it and beating the number 1 unless you're ranked close (2nd, 3rd) will not elevate you to the number 1 position.
It has never worked like that way and logically it shouldn't.Comment

Who says? There is no procedure. There are trends, sure, but it's mostly self important drivel. P4P is for fun.Comment
