        Vitali is all time

It'll be nice to see his brother Wladimir go after the WBC belt.

Vitali is a great fighter, but I wouldn't say he's had a great career. He's been a good champion, impressive in his wins. But in terms of names and percieved quality, the best/most accomplished names on his resume are Lennox Lewis, Adamek, and Chris Byrd. Considering Adamek was simply too small and he suffered defeats to Lewis and Byrd hurts him.

              Good fighter nontheless.

In this article on allboxing.ru today it says Charr-Klitschko although likely is not done yet, and Vitali's management has been having discussions with several other potential opponents.

Yes he suffered a couple defeats, but almost all great fighters have suffered losses.

Yes Vitali and Wladamir both fought in a non strong era of heavyweights. But they were so dominant while there. Once the dust settles and people look back on them, they will be considered ATG heavyweights.

I always find once a fighter retires and moved on with their lives, they earn the respect that they had a hard time achieving while active. It is all about looking back and seriously looking at what they did do. They simply ruled the division for over a decade. That is an incredible feat.

The Klitschkos are possibly even more popular in Ukraine than in Germany.

55% of Ukrainians age 18 and over watched Wladimir vs. Mormeck on IHTEP TV.
