I think they did it with the last fight too. Mayweather got Theaters, Pacquiao got online

I'd purchase this if it wasn't just available to US customers. Guess i'll go with the free stream then.

Theatre numbers can't be fudged like the online sales. But thats really another topic for another thread. My feelings aside, I think this is a good way to put on the fight. I'm not going to stream it but I like it as a marketing tool. I didn't know they used the MLB technology last time.

This is where I believe Mayweather rules. The thing I liked about the Mayweather vs Mosley, Mayweather vs Cotto fights was that I drove to the local theater and saw the fights for 15 bucks. This Pac fight does not offer the same! So my choice to keep it under 15 bucks is A) stream it free or B) pay 4 bucks for a dedicated HD stream where there are no drop off's. So I will pay 4 bucks for a stream with a login and is HD on my computer that I will push out through HDMI to my 50 inch TV. I would rather go to the theater, but none are carrying it. I am not going to pay 54 bucks.

yeah, no way this fight is selling 1.4mil officially. I'll be impressed if it even does 1mil.

Here is the thing I never got about this. It costs exactly the same and only available to the domestic US. Why not just order it on regular PPV? If it were cheaper somehow I'd buy this and just hook my tv up to a laptop.

It's annoying to me that I was able to get for 15 bucks 100% legal the Mayweather vs Mosely and Cotto fights at the theaters, yet there is no 100% legal way to see the Pac fight for 15 bucks. Checkmate Mayweather. So the choice for those who don't have or want to spend 53 bucks is a free stream or one of the pay sites for 4 bucks where you login and get a dedicated HD stream with no drop offs.

Some people enjoy interactive features plus I know some people who doesn't even have cable/cablebox and just use their pc as their main media hub (htpc) and just basically hooks up their pcs to an hdtv. Only few people may be doing what I just said, but it's a nice option by TopRank nonetheless.

I'm still trying to figure out how I'm gonna watch the fight since I'll be flying out for my vacation this Saturday morning (to Dominican Republic).
