Either GB or Top Rank, they will most likely say its a little more than what the actual numbers are; for example Golden boy said Mayweather vs Ortiz was 1.2 million when it was actually 850,000.(thats actually alot more). they also had Canelo and Morales to help boost those sales as well. Which is kinda sad given Mayweathers Celebrity status. GB also marketed the crap out of that card, always on cable tv, and there 24/7 series. The undercard aint too bad for Pacquiao vs Bradley, its actually pretty good (if you follow boxing). but as for notable fighters on the card, Pacquiao is actually the only one. Pacquiao is making the most sells for the card by himself, cant reeally say that for Mayweather.

The points you make are for another discussion. But if you think people purchase a fight for the undercard fighters so be it. But lets say you are correct.

That means floyd paid Canelo 1.2 mil so 500-600k people (the usual number people apply to Canelo) could spend $69.95 on ppv.

600,000 x $69.95=$41,970,000.00

SO floyd spent $1.2 mil to make $41.9 mil. And you're criticizing it.

Here is the thing I never got about this. It costs exactly the same and only available to the domestic US. Why not just order it on regular PPV? If it were cheaper somehow I'd buy this and just hook my tv up to a laptop.

I don't know how TV is set up in the USA but in the UK not everyone with a TV would be able to order a box office fight, there are students who possibly don't have TVs etc. More people will order through TV but I can see the logic in providing streams.

That being said why is it only available in the States? Surely they'd make more money spreading it internationally.

I love how they call themselves boxing fans yet they say they won't watch one of the biggest boxing stars with a legit opponent. `Epic fail.
