Does a $40 Tecate Rebate counts? No purchase necessary for some state.Bottom line, what is the legal way to get a Mayweather fight for less than 54 bucks? Answer: Theaters everywhere. What is the legal way to get a Pac fight for less than 54 bucks? Answer: there is none! So I have changed my mind and do NOT believe Pac deserves 50%. Mayweather is more accessible to those with less money. I make way above the average income but I don't like the facts above and don't like spending 54 bucks.
Also, Mayweather's PPV is now $70 for the HD version, that's a price hike.Comment

Enjoy the fight this weekend.
Can't blame you $60-70 is a lot of money and times are hard at the moment.
It a shame that great boxing fights such as this can't be view by all to enjoy.
At least you will get a chance to witness a true great in action, though the picture might not be very good.
Maybe you should see if you can get the fight from another foreign network, e.g. Primetime from the UK, same coverage but cheaper.Comment

Whilst saying what a good move it is (Am I seeing correctly? Can it be that you're actually complimenting Arum??Impossible).
You could also have said something else, but since you didn't, I will. Arum is to be complimented for scaling back the undeserving upwards direction in which PPVs for top fighters has been going lately. A welcome step-back. More fans will be able to buy it.Comment

Its not just about the money. If fans think this isn't a great matchup so be it. If they don't buy it they may miss out on history.Enjoy the fight this weekend.

But not every floyd or manny fight should be on ppv. Floyd/ortiz and manny/tim type fights should be on HBO or Free TV. But its a different day and age.
Honestly, floyd/manny and vitali/wlad and MAYBE floyd/martinez are the only IMO that we should have to buy on ppv.Comment

Dude I always give Bob credit when he deserves it. So while its common on this board for other posters to try and label me a floyd only guy, i've been watching boxing since 1979 long before floyd and will watch long after him.Whilst saying what a good move it is (Am I seeing correctly? Todd deboeff and Bob are doing a lot to expand the viewership. Online viewing with the different angles is a good look.Comment

You may be one of the unusually lucky ones who has a theatre next door, and is not having a group to watch with him, Also to be able to pop in next door and not have to have a celebratory bite in a restaurant, nor need to sit back and relax with a beer or two. Why just think....if you were normal, the evening might cost you (if you were paying) a couple of hundred dollars. It's annoying to me that I was able to get for 15 bucks 100% legal the Mayweather vs Mosely and Cotto fights at the theaters, yet there is no 100% legal way to see the Pac fight for 15 bucks. Checkmate Mayweather. So the choice for those who don't have or want to spend 53 bucks is a free stream or one of the pay sites for 4 bucks where you login and get a dedicated HD stream with no drop offs.
Whereas the really, really unfortunate ones who like to sit back comfortably at home and watch fights surrounded by like-minded friends, will have to shell out $55, plus the cost of a dozen beer and crackers and a few sandwiches.Comment

Floyd fans are obsessed with PPV numbers. The less the numbers are in this Saturday's fight, the better Floyd's excuse not to fight Pac would look. Floyd fans would immediately say Pac doesn't deserve 50/50. Pac beat Floyd's Ortiz fight last year and it meant absolutely nothing to them. I've never seen a boxer and his fanbase so unmotivated in fighting the biggest star in boxing today. It's crazy if you think about it like a normal human being would. Pac has to win in the PPV battle first. It's truly embarrassing.

You are an astonishing hypocrite. You complain about not having a completely legal way to see the fight for $15 and yet you say you can see it legally for $4. And, you know all about free, illegal streaming. To insist on paying $15 downtown with extra for parking, drinks, eats etc when you can sit comfortably at home and watch it for $4 sounds a bit...off.
If you have any friends (??) and you split the costs, it can be a lot less than $55 and still be legal. If you insist on paying $15, I'm sure your friends(??) will be happy to allow you to.Comment

[QUOTE=SERVILEV;12211299] still prefer to watch in the comforts of my home!QUOTE]I make near 6 figures but there are tons of fans who are near poverty that cannot aford 53 bucks and that is the ***ing reason why I mentioned Mayweather because his fights are almost 1/4 what Pac's fights are because of Mayweather's theater accessible fight cards.Comment
