How many other fighters have had to live up to that pressure?
It's also ******,and why even in a win over JMM he loses...Not the kinda pressure you want to put on ya self against a young hungry fighter who does not know how to lose either...Hey whatever works for him,but then after the fight when it's a close decision or he loses..He will have to answer those question that make him seem less then he really is..

Maybe the expectations on Pacquiao have become unrealistic, but Pacquiao will thrive on that pressure.

And Bradley will find out first hand why Pacquiao was the fighter of the decade and is p4p no.1.

I've yet to see a credible game plan where Bradley can beat Pacquiao.

They were talking so much about Manny having a personal grudge against Marquez for challenging him in the Philippines and always saying he won both fights and about how great Pac was looking during training and that Pac would KO JMM early in the fight, God couldn't save Marquez and so forth. After the fight they were/are all of these excuses about why Pac looked the way he did left and right. Pac has never looked dominate against JMM, so what are they talking about? Roach was just banking on JMM not being affective at that catch weight because of the Floyd fight. Even Bob Arum patted Manny on the head in the ring which is a sign that he should cheer up. They're frauds and the reason why I'm getting at them is because they are belittling Marquez to make up excuses for Pac looking ordinary. Style wise Manny Pacquiao has been matched up to look dominate. Roach and Arum have went on record publicly numerous times to reveal his fights are all picked for entertainment purposes. They always have excuses. Pac should have been real and gave JMM that fight because clearly in his face after he didn't believe he won. Then to have the nerve to tell his loyal pinoy followers that if they don't say he won then they're not Philippines? That's a sucker move.

JMM has always been a difficult style for Manny. Roach was just banking on JMM looking old, fat and washed up at 144 because of the Mayweather fight. Roach better than anyone should have known how difficult of a style JMM has when put in the ring with Manny but roach underestimated him and didn't have any answers for Pac. Roach picks fighters by their last performances and puts up weight stipulations. Pac dominated Mosley but look bad doing so to the point that the leg cramp excuse came up. Bradley was the 2nd choice, not the first. It was Cotto but he refused to drain down to 147. Bradley has a difficult style for Pac and if he is really coming to win then the fight should be interesting.

Pacquiao, like a lot of other people, felt Marquez would be too small to make it a fight. While Marquez was going to war with lightweight opponents like Juan Diaz, Pacquiao was fighting and beating much bigger boxers like Oscar De La Hoya, Joshua Clottey, Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito.

"It just happened, I think we underestimated Marquez, but we trained hard for that fight. The training was still the same. We trained hard for that fight. We underestimated Marquez," Pacquiao said.

"I've been fighting at 150, 147 and then this guy [who is] 140-pounds, 135, is moving up. I've been fighting with bigger guys and then I fight a guy who is the same size, so I kind of understimated [him]."

My thing is. What world renown trainer and P4P fighter of the decade would underestimate an opponent that gave him his 2 toughest fight to date prior to the 3rd? That was a cherry pick. They thought Marquez wouldn't be a problem because he wasn't successful at 144 prior.

Roach got ****y with his slick & sly matchmaking & ****ed up. I mean that much is blatantly obvious. But what's even worse are the fans that eat up the excuses & refuse to acknowledge what sits before them.

Didn't have the pressure on him that fight and Roach underestimated Marquez.

No need to be impressive. A win on cards is enough. Believe me.

Are you kidding me???Pac had a load of pressure in that JMM fight..He was fighting JMM at a weight that JMM did not look good at,not to mention what May did to JMM..To say Pac had pressure in that fight is an understatement...
