No wonder he should take the test. LMAO!This is total BS , Mannys perceived bad performances were because his over hyped good ones were with fighters that were drained , and Hatton was not near his best with a new trainer and a bad prep , take away those handicaps and all you got Clottey paid to loose , Mosley shot but not drained , JMM strong , he was at his best in the other JMM bouts this one was no different !
Mannys WW campaign is a snow job he was never the monster the hype made him out to be !Comment

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38KOs) is not sugarcoating the reality of this Saturday's fight with unbeaten Timothy Bradley (28-0, 12KOs) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao needs an impressive performance. The Filipino superstar openly admits "the pressure is there" to look impressive after lackluster outings against Shane Mosley and Juan Manuel Marquez.

Pacquiao is so good, he has set the bar so high, that it not just good enough for him to win, or even win convincingly, he has to win impressively in style and in a brutal fashion, to live up to the high standards he has set himself.
How many other fighters have had to live up to that pressure?Comment

If you truly believe that was Floyd's hardest fight,I would have to question long you've been watching boxing...That clearly was not Floyd's hardest fight..Might have been his hardest fight in a long time, but I've seen Mayweather pushed better then that in career, when he was prime(which he clearly is not anymore)...Comment

Does not matter if this is Bradley first big event, and it's not about Bradley being physically fresh(although it don't hurt)...Bradley does more things better then Cotto..Because he is a more well rounded fighter, power does not mean Cotto is better...Foot movement judging distance knowing when to clinch, being able to make adjustments all these things count..They are also things Cotto has not done well with though out his career...Let's be honest,he just learned to clinch to get a rest when he does not want to engage and make the fight his own pace...Perception is a strong thing, but just from watching(and I've followed both fighters careers from damn near the beginning)both of these guys career Bradley is a more well rounded fighter then Cotto...Last edited by Rome-By-Ko; 06-06-2012, 05:09 AM.Comment
