We all make our own choices in life, it's no different for people in the public eye.

First off society did not give him the bike, he bought it himself. Do we even know if he has a dl for a motor bike (I recall Diego Corrales did not have the proper dl for a bike)? I have not heard yes or no? Your confusing morality with legality. What's is legal is not always moral and vice versa, and I don't get your point your confusing mistakes and legality. Your saying that if society views something as a mistake then is should be illegal? That is downright illogical, mistakes and laws are completely different things.

Plus you never answered my questions. Here we go again with a straw man argument. Freedom to do what we want. My point is there is no such thing as complete freedom, someone always has to pay for it.

So your point is Paul made his own choice, if he does not have health insurance who should pay for his care? If the same thing happened to you and you made your own choice who should pay for your care?

Since Paul made his own choice and since Paul will never be able to work again who should pay to feed his children? Who should help pay to put a roof over their heads? And if the same thing happened to you who should pay to feed your kids and help pay to put a roof over their heads?
Just answer these questions and where does freedom come into it all. Freedom is meaningless when you are starving or u have no place to live?

So should society help Paul and his family out even though he made his own decision?

Look, all I'll be doing here is repeating post #32. To make it simple, I'm not denying that it's his choice but that doesn't make him free of criticism or right, especially when your bringing kids into this world and partaking in that kind of endangerment. Even taking his profession into account, motorcycles are much more life threatening than boxing. In the ring you got the corner, referee, doctors to protect you, on the road you got none of that.

It's always easy to say that in retrospect, hindsight is 20/20.. People have serious accidents every single second of the day with speeding vehicles, broken buildings, bad weather, guns, electricity, water, even while having sex.. you name it.. Lifes a b!tch. But I wish Williams the best possible recovery.

He knew the risks involved with driving a motorcycle, it sucks yeah, but the important thing is that he recovers and if he is able to walk again, he never touches one again.

It's unfortunate, but it's his own decision and I have no right to get angry at him for it.

Too many so-called grown men who are physically grown but have the maturity of teenagers. To each is own, sound like its his choice and it only effects him. But I bet his kids, his parents, family have a different opinion.

Maybe if more fighters had the mentality of Miguel Cotto boxing would be respected more. The wisest thing I have ever heard a fighter say is when Kellerman asked Cotto if he was willing to die in the ring and Cotto said no. He said, "I have a family, who's is going to take care of my family if I am dead and gone?" Now that is a grown man.

Williams already takes part in a sport that robs you of everything...your money and your health. It takes advantage of naive young fighters, eats them up, spits them out for over 100yrs. He's already nuts for taking part in such a backward sport......and you're mad at him for being equally as nuts to ride a motorcycle?

Both are incredibly dangerous....boxing #1 most dangerous sport, motorcycles #1 most dangerous form of transportation. see the connection? These are their personalities

He found some success in boxing and made some money...but the same type of person it takes to even become a boxer KNOWING the repercussions is the same type of person who gets on to ride bikes. Turn your anger into understanding and you maybe you might look at it differently.
