Good news. He's had a great career but everybody has to stop at some point. I just hope that he doesn't get depressed and stumble into drug addiction like Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya did after crossing paths with Money Mayweather. It's no secret that Floyd is the man responsible for the depressing way in which Shane's career has ended just like he was with Ricky and Oscar. Shane should have retired straight after that fight because it was clear that he was never going to be the same after taking such a demoralising beating.

                    His resume is outstanding.

                    He faced:

                    Oscar De La Hoya 2X
                    Vernon Forrest 2X
                    Winky Wright 2x
                    Fernando Vargas 2X
                    Luis Collazo
                    Miguel Cotto
                    Ricardo Mayorga
                    Antonio Margarito
                    Floyd Mayweather Jr
                    Manny Pacquiao
                    Saul Alvarez

Outside of Fernando Vargas and Ricardo Mayorga all of those guys were prime when Mosley faced them and all were top guys in their respective divisions. One of the best of his era and will be missed.
