Standing ovation to Mosley, now we gotta hope that RJJ sees the light soon.

Possibly due to his ex wife. I can see that sure. I hope not though.

mosley ended on a good note imo...he fought as best as he could as a 40 year old against a guy almost 20 years younger than him; stood toe-to-toe, took some big shots and never went down. eventhough he lost it was a better fight to retire on than the pathetic performance he put up against pac.

One of the best and happiest moments of the 2000 decade for me came in the last year of the decade in 2009, when Sugar upset and destroyed Margarito. That has to be a top 10 boxing moment for me.

I was so hyped up through the whole 9 rounds, I was swinging at the air, shouting. And when the popular last combo came, I went crazy, jumped out of my chair, took the middle finger out to Margarito on the screen. I just went crazy.

Without doubt it's one of my favourite moments too. He'd been written off by loads of people who really should have known better, and absolutely whipped the snot out of him.

I'm sad to see him go, but happy he's made it out in good health and with a couple of dollars in his pocket.

                    Farewell Sugar.

                    Absolute legend, great career.

It was certainly time to hang them up.

Good job Mosley! I will still remember you as one of the fighters who helped define an era! Not as a washed up old guy like these causal post-Pac-Margarito fans. You were an inspiration in your prime! We won't forget what you have done for the sport of boxing! Good luck in what ever you do from here on out!
