NSB is (generally) an anti-Canelo forum so you're pretty much preaching to the choir. Trout didn't improve the opinion of himself as a fighter last night here either, but he'd probably still be favored in NSB.

I don't care which opponent of Canelo and Trout's is/was better, B. There's a substantial amount of cases, where the fighter that faced lesser competition won. Canelo would hurt Trout en route to unifying the titles; he's the better fighter.

Nobody hates Canelo. He's a good fighter. But the thought of putting him on a pedestal and making all of the contenders at 154 beat each other up for the chance to face him is ridiculous. He hasnt beaten anyone to deserve that status.

              I just watched the card.

I think Trout is a good fighter and it's true, it's hard to look good against Rodriguez.

He did what he had to do and got the win in clear fashion albeit not spectacular and it's onwards and upwards from here.

Last year he fought 4 times. Didn't Schaefer already say they could see Alvarez fighting in September and than in December. Canelo is usually very active.

If Alvarez-Kirkland doesn't happen, and I wouldn't mind if it does because Kirkland is a Top 10 SWW with wins over Julio and Angulo, than I think we'll see Alvarez-Bundrage for a unification. I wouldn't totally mind it because it's a unification, and Bundrage has beaten Spinks and Powell and is in the Top 10.

But I would definitely want to see Trout-Rosado in September or soemthing, and would love to see the winner fight Canelo.

I've given up on Canelo-Lara, that will NEVER HAPPEN.
I think Canelo himself would fight the best out there. It is Schaefer that does not want to let Canelo fight Lara. When he talks about opponents for Canelo he never says Lara's name even though he is Lara's promoter and Lara is the #1 contender and begging to fight Canelo. So without Golden Boy aboard the Canelo-Lara fight won't happen. Canelo-Kirkland won't happen because Kirkland wants 2.5 million and I think that might be more than Canelo gets. Why do you want Trout to to fight Rosado first and then fight Canelo if he wins? What's wrong with Canelo-Trout on September 15th? Trout is an undefeated champion and he earned his shot last night. He is a better fighter than Rosado and one of the best at 154. Two belts would be on the line.Next to Canelo-Lara that is the fight I would like to see. Maybe Kirkland could rest his shoulder and then KO Bundrage. Poor Lara is to good for his own good.Maybe Bundrage would fight Lara.

Even though I don't think Bundrage is very good I would not mind a Canelo-Bundrage fight. Bundrage has earned it and it would unify two tittles as you point out.

Let's just hope Cory Spinks doesn't spoil the party and new plan of Oscar on June 30

Other than the fight(which he was winning btw) where DRod got stopped, I've never seen this guy get beaten convincingly. He always get robbed. So maybe Trout has something to do with making him look dog****ty last night.
