Can we all agree that last nights Rodriguez is easily better than a current Cintron & Mosley at 154??

Rodriguez looked shy last night. He did not press the action like some of us expected. You could see he was having more success in the end when he did so and that's why I said he could win if he showed up to fight which he didn't.

The dude ****** it out twice on ESPN with Wolak but when given the big stage he goes gun shy. That's a nice way to get back on ESPN if you ask me.

Oh I agree. I thought Delvin went out of his way to fight technical, which is not in his nature. But to the point, has anyone looked good against him. And would you consider him better than the current Shane Mosley & Kermit Cintron??

What would be the best way to get a Canelo shot? To stink it out, and look average. Or do look very impressive?

I think it's the former...Because, if it was the latter this point would be moot since Lara would already have been the opponent.

It I were the 1 talking garbage about Trout, I'd stay far from this tread too. Because Rodriguez is far better than ginger's last few opponents, hell probably combined. Almost all his losses he arguably won & it isn't easy to look good against him. But the typical nsb type poster do tend to develop amnesia as soon as it suites their agenda.

Rodriguez is a good/solid Top 10 SWW. Rpdriguez and Lopez are two good/solid wins for Trout. I'd like to see him fight Rosado next, and than fight Alvarez maybe in December.

Trout is good, a little boring, but Delvin had a lot to do with that as well. He simply didn't throw any punches and Trout just out worked him the majority of the fight.

Canelo's only notable wins are really Rhodes, who was a Top 10 SWW at the time, and Cintron. But Cintron was coming off a loss to Molina and wasn't in the Top 10 anymore.

I hope Alvarez-Kirkland comes off, and they can put Trout-Rosado on the undercard. Rosado comes to **** and would not go gun shy like Delvin did last night. Trout-Rosado would be a great fight. Trout beats him though.

I doubt Canelo fights in september then right after in december. The 2 fighters that should be considered for ginger is Trout or Lara. Even Lara has been involved in a suspect fight but fans forgot that too. At least Trout clearly beat Delvin, who is as you say top 10.

I expect someone like K-9 or someone equally as preposterous. Then I'll watch a ginger gets adored for beating someone who wasn't even supposed to be competitive to begin with. Which has become typical of hbo hyped fighters.

                You don't think so????

Last year he fought 4 times. Didn't Schaefer already say they could see Alvarez fighting in September and than in December. Canelo is usually very active.

If Alvarez-Kirkland doesn't happen, and I wouldn't mind if it does because Kirkland is a Top 10 SWW with wins over Julio and Angulo, than I think we'll see Alvarez-Bundrage for a unification. I wouldn't totally mind it because it's a unification, and Bundrage has beaten Spinks and Powell and is in the Top 10.

But I would definitely want to see Trout-Rosado in September or soemthing, and would love to see the winner fight Canelo.

I've given up on Canelo-Lara, that will NEVER HAPPEN.

I expect him to fight K-9 and Trout this year to become undisputed champ at 154. He will hold the WBC, WBA and IBF titles.

Then that would set up a huge fight with Floyd in May with 5 titles on the line:

                  WBC
                  WBA
                  IBF
                  WBA "Super Champion"
                  WBC Diamond Belt

If Canelo is the WBA and WBC champ...By the WBA rules he would be the WBA super champ.
