Again, if the idea is that 2 guys who have a better resume than Canelo, plus Lara, plus Rosado would have to have a mini tournament to get a shot at Canelo. It's not Canelo's fault what happened to Williams as tragic as it is, and he's tried making a fight with Kirkland both of which were tougher fights in my opinion than Trout. He's doin all be can to step it up and make a good fight.

I don't see Trout posing a huge threat to Canelo outside ofthe fact that he is a south paw but still see Canelo taking him.

I personally thought Williams was a tougher fight than Kirkland healthy. His length and high volume punching would have made for a good fight. I think Canelo would have wore him down later in the fight but would have been interesting.
I like Kirkland but he is too one dimensional, and I haven't been overly impressed with Trout especially in a fight where he was supposed to be showcasing himself for a bigger fight.

Maybe it's just me but I think Williams would have been the most challenging for Canelo.

I'm not saying Trout or Kirkland don't make for good fights but I don't see either one of them beating Canelo.

The fight was in Mexico and Televisa showed it, Trout was marvelous in that fight, versus one the most dangerous and most avoided Jr Middleweights in the world.

Also search for his fight with Rigoberto Alvarez, the super middleweight brother of Canelo, they way he outclasses the bigger Alvarez was great too

Those 2 fights were in Mexico and were shown by Televisa, Trout made me a fan with those fights

The fact that they could possibly try and get Trout-Alvarez to headline a PPV card is laughable. Who in their right mind would pay $60 to see that ****? After watching Trout last night I probably wouldn't even want to see the fight if it was free. I'd catch a replay of it or something. It's just not an interesting fight in the least
