Pretty sure he got his court date moved to fight Manny on May 5th

A date Arum was interested in against Marquez but when he heard floyd got his jail term pushed back May 5th was no longer good.

You fellows make far too much of "Arum said this and Arum said that"..and all that crap. it was just a suggestion, as he probably knew the date might be available. It doesn't depend on Arum, it depends on what else is going on on any particular date. And the main thingit depends on is whether MannyP would be ready, able and willing to fight on that day. He has a lot on his plate, boxing is only one of them. He has to make sure of no conflicts.

Arum doen't make up Pacquiao's mind about dates, he just tells him what and who are available and what sort of money he thinks can be made from each one. MannyP and Koncz decide, with maybe some input from his tax lawyer and The Roach. Pacquiao would never have been ready for May 5th. His doctor only gave him permission to spar in mid-April. It was all publicized, I read it so I'm sure you did too.
