i like him and his win over Ed perry impressed me, the way he does things is consistent and solid but he needs a better challenge, and he could be a very good fighter but only time will tell...interesting thread about an interesting fighter

Cheers for the reply.Like Tarver at 43 has not fought in 11 months and while is win over Green was a good one on the road Green has been fighting so many shot fighters and cans in his comeback that it was bound to happen just didnt expect Tarver to be the one.At 3/1 i think its worth a punt

From what I have seen he looks pretty ordinary. He has a big punch but IMO I think the guy lacks killer instinct.

He often tags his man & has them out on their feet but just seems to drift back and let them off the hook, maybe he admires his work too much.

I think Tarver has this one, too much skill & more proven at the top level.

He is big and powerful....that being said, I think Tarver can upset him by outboxing him. The 3/1 odds are out of line, Tarver will likely win.

take his power away and he's dead average

            tarver might knock him out

he's old and might be complacent, however. it wouldnt surprise me at all if he were content to sit on the outside and counter and win on the cards wide

The English spelling differs to the American spelling. Doesn't it?
